Right in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, amidst all the chaos of Times Square there is the Hyatt Hotel with its newest attraction— Bar 54, the highest rooftop bar in Manhattan.

Atop the 54-story structure, the new bar is a destination that offers sophistication and views that can only be found in New York, along with a high energy setting to go along with a well-made cocktail.

With a seating capacity for a 122, the lounge provides an intimate feel with couches and chaises, with the piece de resistance being the breathtaking views of the entire city stretching as far as One World Trade Center. And just as spectacular are the drinks and a menu created by master mixologist Julie Reiner who has done work for the Flatiron Lounge and Pegu Club, meaning that visitors to bar will enjoy some of the finest liquors available.

Some of the superb cocktails available at the Bar include the “Green Submarine,” a strongly-ginger-based drink made with Pimm’s and Tanqueray Gin. like the fruity. Then there is the “Port Wine Cobbler,” a darker rendition of sangria made with Remy Martin, Ruby Port, and orange and lemon.

Still, Reiner’s focus on natural, pure cocktail components should allow for an evolving and rotational drink menu to offer the best in seasonally fresh ingredients and flavors.
