People in metro city areas are too busy working, running their everyday chores that they sometimes forget the importance of keeping themselves fit both mentally and physically. They seem to be unnerved when somebody talks about how cool it is to have an hourglass figure or a six-pack. 

So for all the New Yorkers needing a kickstart, here is a guide of upcoming fitness events taking place in New York City over the next few weeks — sometimes all that’s needed to reach our goals is taking that first step!

The world’s biggest charity bike ride takes place on the first Sunday of May at The Battery, Manhattan. Yoga X Dance

Lole Run Club is coming up with a unique event and one of its kinds where the girls will be running for a fun three miles and will be enjoying pizza, music and Polaroid pictures afterwards.
