Amra and Elma know a thing or two about travel. Having visited over 20 different countries, the girls have plenty of tips for making your next trip as fashionable and stress-free as possible.

1. What is some advice that you have for a more stress-free travel experience?

After trotting around the globe and 20 countries later, I’ve always come to the same conclusion: traveling is an adventure and can also take a toll if not planned carefully. Too often, after switching flights or trains, has my luggage been lost not to take notice; thus, I would definitely suggest packing light and sticking to carry-on only. This especially rings true for overseas flights when waking-up in a foreign country without your own necessities at hand, e.g., your own toothbrush, lingerie or sneakers. In a nutshell, downsize and downsize some more. Bring basic pieces that you can combine with everything you have brought. For instance, I would suggest taking neutral colored pieces (camel, jeans, whites, grays and blacks). Finally, wait to get your souvenirs or those must-have pieces at the end of your trip, where the only flight you have to worry about is the one taking you home.

2. Do you have any items, (beauty fashion and otherwise) that are essential to you when you travel?

One of the travel must-have essentials is Jurlique’s (without sulfates and parabens) rosewater balancing mist, which hydrates, balances the complexion and refreshes the skin. We tend to get dehydrated when on 8+ hour overnight flights; thus, I recommend keeping moisturized at all times. This mist is easy to spray over your face (even can be used to set makeup) when on the go. Another travel essential would be a perfect is a white V-neck t-shirt, which you can easily pair with black or blue ripped denim and instantly look effortlessly chic. Finally, I would always bring a cool pair of sneakers, which you can cross thousands of miles while remaining comfortable and without losing your style.

3. What are some of your favorite travel destinations?

So far, I would have to say that Costa Rica took my breath away—its black beaches (remnants of volcanic ash), jungles and wildlife was spectacular. The palm trees, mountains and the tropical forests left me mesmerized. Another favorite, which is a classic, is Paris, as Audrey Hepburn once famously said “Paris is always a good idea.” I love roaming around the neighborhood of Montmartre, discovering spectacular street art and local cafes is a true treat. The third place that truly took me by surprise was the grandness of Budapest. Walking by the Danube River, I could sense that this was once an imperial city from which the throne of Europe reigned. The breadth and the width of the city signaled its historic grandness and mystic beauty.

4. What are key travel-friendly clothing pieces?

As mentioned above, the key travel-friendly pieces would be a white t-shirt (a long sleeved one will do in the winter), black ripped denim (black or blue), and chic sneakers. These are so easy to pair with just about anything. Also, if traveling during the winter, I suggest bringing a few knits and a blanket scarf that are easy to roll-up in your carry on and will keep you warm and cozy during your entire trip. The blanket scarf (my current favorite is a camel one, 100% cashmere) is easy to wrap around and help keep you ultra warm. Finally, if traveling to a warm climate, bring a panama hat; it will help to put you in that explorer mode and add that vintage feel to your memorable photos.
