On June 13, bourbon lovers are coming together for the day-long tasting and festival, Bourbon Bash, in Lower Manhattan to celebrate National Bourbon Day. Participants will take a self-guided tour of eight downtown bars starting at noon and will be treated to a 1-ounce tasting of bourbon whiskey at each establishment.

Bashers can enjoy entertainment and delicious food tastings along with their bourbon all day long until 10 p.m. Eight of Kentucky’s finest bourbons that will be served includes Basil Hayden’s, Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam, Four Roses Single Barrel, Charred Oak and Knob Creek and more. All drinks can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or with a soda mixer.

The eight establishments participating in this celebration includes Copper Still, West 3rd Common, Libation, Nevada Smith’s, Parkside Lounge, Thunder Jackson’s, DBA, and Mary O’s. All venues are within walking distance of each other, with West 3rd Common being the kick-off location. Bartenders at each venue will have hole punchers and will give participants a punch on their badge when they serve the specialty bourbon.

Participants can have a good time during this barhop adventure all while benefiting a local charity organization, Free Arts NYC. This non-profit helps underprivileged children re-imagine their worlds through the creative arts. A portion of all proceeds from the event will go to them. All designated drivers are welcome as well and their admission is free!

Check-in starts at noon and ends at 3 p.m. sharp, so participants must pick up their passes before then. Tickets can found on their website. This event is 21+.
