What Were The Fashion Trends During Spring Break 2018?

Spring break 2018 brought a lot of sunburns and hangover to college students. But, the fashion in these warm places killed the game in spring break. From bright swimsuits to flowy rompers were the trends during the break.

I went to Miami, FL for my spring break where the fashion trends were at all time high! I came back with a sense of what spring clothes I need in my closet this year. Downtown created a line up of the fashion trends spring breaker were wearing during their break.

One Piece Swimsuits

Reformation Tropicana One-Piece

The one piece has been a trend for the past few years and this year it been taking the swimsuit to a new level. Now, one piece has fun cut-outs and popular colors like red and black. This Reformation swimsuit has a stylish tie know in the front with a cut out in the belly.

Pattern of Stripes

Gap Stripe Sleeveless Wrap Jumpsuit

Everyone and their mothers were wearing stripes including myself. Swimsuits dress in t-shirts striped took over the spring break fashion. I wore a flowy jumpsuit from the Gap, and three other girls were wearing the same one!

Denim Jean Skirt

The denim skirt had various washes and made it easy for girls this spring break. Levi denim skirts are coming back into trend with bring the vintage back into our closets. It’s simple to dress down for the beach and adding a flowy top to have dinner outside.

Platform Heels

Heels come in all shapes and heights, but platform heels were fashionable footwear for the nightlife. These platform heels are a different way to get some height in your life. ASOS platforms offer with multiple netural colors from millenail pink to the classic black.

Sunglasses trend come and go, but spring break brought back the retro sunnies like these Vogue sunglasses. The cateye can come in an elegant black or a bold red to pull together a look. Not only the cateye but a clear hardshell material with fun colors are the trend for this spring.

Tomato red is a color I saw a lot of everyone’s clothing from beaches to the clubs. Red is a dominant and flattery color that everyone can wear. Free People always have fun red dresses and shirt like this jumpsuit with bell sleves ruffles add a little spice to the outfit. The color red is a stunning way to make a statement in the crowd.
