The Flatiron District gets a left this weekend when Pergola, a new Mediterranean-themed, sexy dining and entertainment experience throws open its doors on West 28th Street this Saturday night, January 11.
The multi-level 3,700 square foot former flower shop restaurant has been incredibly transformed into a gorgeous multi-level, must-see-to-believe dining destination.
Diners will be invited to experience Pergola’s delicious Mediterranean menu and then stay late into the night to enjoy the lively music and extensive hookah menu, as well as the diverse and delicious mixology bar.
Guests can indulge in the Mediterranean menu influenced by Greek, Turkish and other dishes from throughout the Middle East created by Executive Chef Nestor Moina.
The chef joins Pergola’s team bringing experience from Remi Restaurant and Neri in Midtown and serves up a menu including small plates like Cigars (lamb, chicken and vegetables wrapped in phyllo) and Tabbouleh, and large plates that include the Pergola Mixed Grill, Pergola Lamb Burger and grilled prawns.
The massive glass exterior allows natural light to play off the seasonal green accents inside, paying homage to the venue’s past, with the interior design and greenery intended to update, along with the menu with each season.
Meanwhile, the signature cocktail list created by Scott Fitzgerald, formerly of Mulberry Project, features delicious drinks including the Jalisco Rose (Reposado Tequila, shaken with amber agave, apples, rosemary and lime juice) or Spearmint 75 (vodka, lemon, spearment, agave, lemon and Persecco).
If you’ve ever wanted to sample the delights of a truly Mediterranean experience for all your senses, then a trip to Pergola is dream come true for you.
